The ACE series is an infrared scope designed for outdoor hunting. Based on infrared thermal imaging principles, it operates without the need for external light sources, making it effective both day and night, in all weather conditions including rain, snow, fog, and haze. The scope is unaffected by strong light and can be used to observe targets even behind obstacles such as branches, grass, and shrubs. The ACE series also offers a variety of battery-powered solutions with long operating hours, making it ideal for hunting, observation, and positioning in low visibility conditions.

The Nocpix ACE‑S60R Thermal Weapon Sight with Occluding Magnifier available at Night Vision Guys is a top-tier thermal optic designed for professional shooters, tactical operators, and advanced hunters who demand exceptional resolution, long-range detection, and integrated ranging in a single package. It features a 1280×1024 uncooled VOx thermal detector paired with a 60 mm objective lens, providing highly detailed thermal imagery and superior detection performance, even in low-contrast or nighttime conditions. The occluding magnifier design allows users to quickly switch between a wide situational view and a magnified precision view without changing optics, while the built-in laser rangefinder supplies accurate distance measurements overlaid directly on the thermal image to support rapid and precise target engagement.

Operating at a 50 Hz refresh rate, the ACE‑S60R delivers smooth thermal video during scanning and target tracking. The scope offers multiple reticle styles, color palettes, and digital zoom options, allowing users to customize their sighting experience for various environments and operational needs. Onboard video and image capture enable documentation, after-action review, or sharing of thermal data, and Wi-Fi or wired connectivity allows live streaming and file transfer to external devices. Power is provided through replaceable 18650 batteries or an internal rechargeable pack, with USB-C external power support for extended field operations.

Built for rugged use, the ACE‑S60R features a durable, weather-resistant chassis designed to withstand recoil from a wide range of calibers. The 60 mm lens enhances thermal throughput, improving detection and image quality at longer ranges or in thermally flat scenes. The occluding magnifier allows for rapid optical magnification without losing situational awareness, providing a practical alternative to purely digital zoom systems.

While the high-resolution 1280×1024 sensor and 60 mm lens deliver exceptional performance, they also add weight and bulk, which can affect rifle balance and handling. The combination of high-resolution imaging, laser rangefinder, and recording features increases power consumption, so actual runtime may be shorter than nominal specifications when Wi-Fi and recording are in use. Proper battery management and spare power solutions are recommended for extended operations.

Overall, the Nocpix ACE‑S60R with occluding magnifier and 60 mm LRF is a premium, field-ready thermal weapon sight that combines extreme resolution, integrated ranging, and versatile optical functionality. It is ideal for users who require long-range precision, robust performance, and a high degree of situational awareness in demanding environments.
