Thermal Monoculars

What is the benefit of having/using a thermal monocular if you already a dedicated thermal scope? The biggest advantage in owning a thermal monocular is that it mitigates you from picking up your rifle that has a thermal scope and swinging it left and right. In other words, when you have a thermal monocular, you allow yourself to spot game, put the thermal monocular down and grab your rifle with the thermal scope. By not having a thermal monocular you get tired from swinging your rifle left and right, up and down. Additionally, the biggest advantage of owning a thermal monocular is using it in the firefighting field. By owning a thermal monocular, it gives firefighters the ability to be able to pick up heat signatures without entering a doorway. This will ensure the safety of all firefighters. Thermal imaging monoculars are effective in total darkness or daylight and can see through obstructions such as smoke and fog. Heat detection is very different than starlight technology, where it allows you to scan large areas and find animals or people very easily. The thermal monoculars are also used in firefighting. Usually monocular can sense the heat radiations at the range of -50° C to 2000° C. Thermal monoculars are extensively used in hunting, security, surveillance, energy analysis, LE and military, industrial applications and in search and rescue operations. One myth about thermal monoculars iis that they can see through walls which is absolutely false. Thermal monoculars can pick up heat signatures on a wall, door, ceiling etc if there is some sort of heat coming through it for example a fire.
