Unfair advantage
Thanks NVGuys for getting me into Night Vision without the comparable $6200 price for the AGM NVG-50 3AL2 NODs. I've been reluctant to shell out the cash for a quality set for years. However, with the recent events and no let up in sight I decided to take back the night. I am a 3 gun competitor and I must say, if I had to choose between a full auto weapon or the AGM NODs its no contest. This NOD set is an incredible force multiplier! I own a ranch in the Appalachians. My barn is 100 yards from the house I can clearly and concisely see the small window panes on the windows of the barn. Across the pasture I can clearly see the cattle out to 300 yards. I can clearly see the mountain homes miles away. But without the NODs I can see none of this. Although the military branches are going to White Phosphor I like the green as most of the world is green and its easy on the eyes for me. Minimal dots in tube. Light gain is easily adjusted and the range is estensive. IR light makes map reading easy. Focus rings and objective rings make focusing crispness easy. I like that the tubes can be articulated to allow monocular or bino applications. AGM makes a robust set of NODs. This set truly provides an incredibly unfair advantage.
