AGM Anaconda TC50-640 – Medium Range Thermal Imaging Clip-On
Armasight by FLIR Apollo-Pro MR 640-30 Thermal Clip-on Sight 50mm Lens
Converting any standard day scope into a thermal imager, the FLIR Apollo Pro MR detects and engages targets day or night. The Apollo Pro MR packs state-of-the-art technology into a rugged housing, providing sharp thermal imaging in the toughest conditions. Quick-release Picatinny rail mounting makes installation possible in seconds and using an existing day scope reticle allows immediate shot precision—no rezeroing required.
The time is now. Armasight has introduced an amazing new design in their Thermal Imaging Clip on devices, making it easy to take high quality thermal imaging technology with you when you are on the move. While these new Armasight thermal imaging scopes offer the same technological prowess of fully mounted scopes, they are so much simpler, easily mounting in front of your current day time scope. No longer do you have to release your daytime mount and spend valuable time switching it out for a night vision scope of some kind - now you can simply clip on the Armasight thermal imaging scope in front of your existing daytime scope for quick and ready night vision imaging.
If you are not yet sure if thermal imaging technology is for you, ask yourself one question, is it worthwhile to know you will be able to see your target, even in inclement weather conditions? If so, then the answer is easy. You must invest in thermal imaging technology, because in bad weather conditions other night vision technology definitely has the potential to let you down. Thermal imaging promises you an incredible and clear night time view of the field, but not just when the sky is clear. Even in rain and fog and other bad weather conditions, targets still give off heat, which means thermal imaging still works.
Another advantage of thermal imaging over other night vision technology is camouflage. A well selected camouflage outfit can hide a lot from even the well trained eye, but it can’t hide from thermal imaging technology. This is yet another way that a simple thermal imaging clip on scope upgrades your entire tactical arsenal; it is simple and very effective.
The model that you are currently looking at is the Armasight Apollo-Pro MR 640-30 which offers a refresh rate of 30 hz and a pixel array format of 640 x 512.
This model ships with the thermal imaging clip on system, an objective lens cap, an output lens cap, a mount, 2 CR 123A lithium batteries, an Advanced Wireless Remote Control, a Picatinny Adaptor for Wireless Remote Control, four different Light Suppressors included one for Day Scope, an operation and maintenance manual, a soft carrying case, a and hard shipping case.

Hi Michael. Armasight Apollo Pro line of thermal clipons supports both CR123A and AA batteries. However, note that AA batteries will not last as long as CR123A. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
Question
What is the best product to use cleaning the thermal scope lens.
From MICHAEL TINGLE JR on Sep 14, 2015
Answer
Hi Michael. The best is to gently use a soft microfiber cloth. If that is not enough, you can apply a wet microfiber cloth followed by a dry microfiber cloth.
Question
Does this product come with mounting hardware for standard picatinny rail systems?
From Fred on May 13, 2016
Answer
Hi Fred. Sorry for the late response. We somehow missed your question. Armasight Apollo thermal clip-on is equipped with a quick release mount which will allow seamless mounting and dismounting on a standard picatinny rail.
Question
I recently purchased the Armasight Apollo-Pro MR 640-30 Thermal Clip-on Sight 50mm Lens. When I mount it in front of my daytime optic the POI is not anywhere close. All of the info says it will not change POI. How do I set the Thermal to match my day optic?
From Randy S. on Aug 23, 2018
Answer
Hi Randy. Did you purchase the unit from NightVisionGuys ? What type of day time optic are you using? How is everything mounted? Can you send a picture of your setup?
