From EOTech about Mini Red Dot Sight (MRDS) Basic Kit Tan
Built to rugged military specs, the MRDS is designed to aid rapid target acquisition at close combat distances. For high visibility in all lighting conditions, it has a small footprint, low power consumption and auto/manual dot-intensity adjustment with 4 brightness levels.
The MRDS is easier to operate than competitive models. Its top-loading battery compartment means you don't need to remove the sight or lose zero. Positive click adjusters provide 1 MOA per click windage and elevation correction, ensuring quick and accurate sight alignment without guessing.
The MRDS is available by itself or as a deluxe kit that includes a 1913 mount and protective shroud.

The black MRD-000-A2 Mini Red Dot Sight (MRDS) Basic Kit from EOTech is built as per rugged military specs and is designed to aid rapid target acquisition at close combat distances. Its small footprint, low power consumption, and adjustability make it a force multiplier in tight quarters. You can adjust auto dot intensity and a manual dot intensity (4 brightness levels), providing high visibility in low lighting conditions for a fast sight picture.
It features capability such as a top-loading battery compartment that allows battery change-out without the need for sight removal or loss of zero. It is also waterproof to up to 66', as well as tested to environmental extremes of the 810G MIL-STD. The positive click adjusters provide 1 MOA per click windage and elevation correction, ensuring quick and accurate sight alignment without the guess work.
The MRDS can be mounted to many existing optics, giving the shooter the ability to use it either as a primary sight or as a part of a complete targeting system in conjunction with long-distance optics.
