RAZOR 1-6x24 VMR-2 MRAD
I have been working in the firearms industry for 6 years now. In that time my sales have focused on quality AR-15s, handguns and occasionally bolt action rifles. When Vortex announced that they were making a MRAD reticle for the 1-6 RAZOR scopes I was excited. When I got my hands on the RZR-16004 I immediately knew that it was a piece that I would want on some of my own guns. I'm primarily an AR shooter and I also teach armorer's courses for a local manufacturer. The rifle this optic is going on is the Noveske 16" 5.56 gun I built last year using a 13.5" NSR, mid-length 1:7 Noveske barrel, and Gen2 lower and chainsaw upper. Where the VMR-2 MRAD starts to make my rifle more capable is where the center dot is a nearly seamless transition from my Aimpoint Micro. I love the clarity of the optic and doing a side-by-side comparison to my Aimpoint, I found the dot size to be easily picked up by my eyes, and the reticle to be clear in all but the darkest of settings. Illumination is very easy to reach, given the LH side which will be primarily accessed by your support hand. Please notice I didn't say "weak hand" as a shooter's non-dominant hand should be viewed as a support hand. When transitioning to support-side shooting, you'll find your non-dominant eye easily transitioned to when using this optic. It is VERY clear and I think most operators will agree this is an excellent choice for their gun. The ability to have up to a 6x magnification also furthers you and your rifle's capabilities as more precision can be achieved. Getting a true 1x optic with a center dot that emulates an Aimpoint and ability to comfortably shoot to 600-700yds for this price is awesome. You don't have to have an optic and a FTS magnifier when you can do it all in one piece. The only thing I'd mention that I would LOVE to see on the RAZOR is the same reticle from the PST 1-4 MRADs available for the RAZORs, and maybe some black finishes. All things considered, this is a phenomenal optic and I love being able to write reviews aobut it. Thanks so much Vortex and God bless.

Spot on
I am not very big on low power optics, but when I saw Vortex come out with a 1-6 I had to give it a try. This thing is built solid and is a little on the heavy side but what you get in trade is enough to feel fully satisfied.

Amazing scope.
After a long and thorough review I had narrowed my search down to either this model or one of the Leupolds. Reviews only told me so much so I found this along with the other model I was considering at a local store and I did a little comparison. I have to say that for the money this is the clearest and brightest scope you will find. It is simply amazing. I've shown it to people who have never seen or heard of it and the first word out of their mouth is "wow". I've used it on my AR at the range quite a few times and in one competition, furthest target being out at 200m. The red dot works great up close and the hashmarks work great in conjunction with the zoom. I could not be happier with this scope.
