From Pulsar about Pulsar 8x40 Expert LRF Rangefinder Binocular

Featuring an 8-power magnification, a laser rangefinder up to 1,000 meters and realistic color rendering, the Pulsar Expert Laser Range Finder Binocular is a vital tool for any tactical operator. With its lightweight, rugged body construction, and operation temperature range of -22ºF - 113ºF and easy-to-use controls, the Expert 8x40 LFR is built to withstand the harsh operating environments of military, government and police personnel. Realistic color rendering, fine-tune eye piece adjustment and advanced image sharpness allow the operator to easily identify and range their target, assisting in surveillance and target acquisition or sniper operations.

  • Pulsar Expert Rangefinder Binocular Operation Possible at Extreme Low Temps

The Expert LRF 8x40 Binocular shows stable operation in freezing conditions (the unit was tested at a temperature of 30°С below zero multiple times). Unlike LCD-based display systems, other products show visible slowdown of imaging of graphic data in the field of view at below zero temperature.

  • Pulsar Expert Rangefinder Binocular Realistic Color Rendering

The Expert LRF 8x40 Binocular ensures realistic color rendering of an image under observation. The unit also features noticeable cold blue tints in image rendering--a design feature of some popular binoculars with built-in laser rangefinder.

  • Pulsar Expert Rangefinder Binocular High Transmission Factor

The Expert LRF 8x40 Binocular features one of the best transmission factors among similar devices, ensuring bright image which can be seen especially well when conducting observation in cloudy weather--daytime or twilight. The patented on-screen data input system ensures the least amount of loss of light in the optical channel as compared to LCD-based display solutions.

  • Pulsar Expert Rangefinder Binocular Wide Range Of Brightness Symbols Settings

The reticle and measurement readings are displayed in the field of view as high definition symbols with five brightness settings which contribute to a balanced contrast of the reticle in respect to an object viewed. Information is well perceived under any observation conditions both in sunny weather (including measurement of distance to light, well reflective objects) and twilight.

  • Pulsar Expert Rangefinder Binocular Stable Position of Graphic Data in the Field of View

The construction of the Expert LRF provides stable horizontal position of symbols in the field of view irrespectively of the mutual position of the eyepieces (interpupillary distance).

  • Pulsar Expert Rangefinder Binocular Advanced Image Sharpness

The image seen through the Expert LRF features high resolution (sharpness and ability to render image of small objects at large distances) in all zones of the field of view.

  • Pulsar Expert Rangefinder Binocular low Power Consumption

The Expert LRF 8x40 Binocular allows users to make up to 14,000 single measurements using one battery, which makes it today one of the most effective units with laser rangefinder in terms of energy consumption.

  • Pulsar Expert Rangefinder Binocular Comfortable Perception of On Screen Symbols

On-screen symbols in the Expert LRF 8x40 Binocular are not obstructed with redundant symbols and do not hinder observation.
