Pulsar Edge GS Super 1+ 1x20 Night Vision Goggles
Firefield Tracker 1x24 Night Vision Goggle Kit FF25025 pairs a Tracker 1x24 Night Vision Binocular and a Firefield Head Gear Kit for hands free viewing. This Firefield Night Vision Goggle has a magnification power of 1x and an 24mm objective lens. The eye relief on the Night Vision Goggle is 12 mm, that allows for comfortable viewing while the 200 m range of detection makes this unit perfect for general observation. The Tracker 1x24 Night Vision Goggle Kit FF25025 provides clear viewing in total darkness by utilizing a single built-in IR illuminator with a range of 150 meters. Throw the ergonomically-designed, rubberized body around your neck for a long expedition; the lightweight and compact unit is surprisingly comfortable, making your viewing experience that much more enjoyable. Like all Viking models, the Tracker 1x24 Night Vision Goggles utilizes Firefield's newly designed Eclipse lens cap system, which removes lens cap hassles, dual eye diopter adjustment with central focusing, and a wide field of view (30). Firefield provides an exclusive Eclipse lens cap system which not only protects the Tracker 1x24 mm Night Vision Goggle from bright light, but also saves users from many irritations. Everyone knows the hassles associated with lens caps for Binoculars; Lens Caps get lost or tangled and without them the lenses become dusty or scratched up. The Eclipse lens cap system features flip-top lens covers that can be flipped up to fit against the Binoculars body and rotated to ensure that they are out of the viewing field. Also, the covers can be taken off all together. In addition to the Eclipse lens cap system, the water resistant Tracker 1 x 24 Night Vision Goggle Kit by Firefield utilizes a soft, one-piece eyecup to prevent external light distortion and light leakage from the device, allowing the user to remain hidden in the night.

Gen 1 Night Vision
1st generation is currently the most popular type of night vision in the world. Utilizing the basic principles described in detail in our guide, a 1st generation unit will amplify the existing light several thousand times letting you clearly see in the dark. These units provide a bright and sharp image at a low cost, which is perfect, whether you are boating, observing wildlife, or providing security for your home. You may notice the following when you are looking through a 1st Gen. unit. A slight high-pitched whine when the unit is on. The image you see may be slightly blurry around the edges. This is known as Geometric Distortion. When you turn a 1st Gen. unit off it may glow green for some time. These are inherent characteristics of a 1st Gen. unit and are normal.

Question
Can this be mounted to a helmet??
From swinton on Apr 29, 2016
Answer
Hi Swinton. There may be a way, but we are not aware of the correct adapter. It is designed to work with the headgear it ships with, but you may be able to find something that allows you to adapt to the mount you have on your helmet. We see this type of stuff on airsoft forms from time to time so that may be a good place to look.
Question
I'm in the market for a pair of NVG for home security. However I'm a disabled veteran and I live off of limited income. Could yall recommend a good NVG that I could afford for my task. Also I need a NVG that comes with the headgear. Thanks so much.

Answer
Hi Denny. How far do you need to see? Do you need a single (monocular) type of goggle or a proper bi-ocular nvg set? Armasight Spark is an example of a monocular goggle. You can use it with or without a headset and it provides really good quality image and range for a Gen 1 device.
Question
Also how good of an NVG is the firefield tracker 1×24, is this a good NVG for home security. Is it a gen 1 or gen 2 and does it come with any type of warrenty.thanks again

Answer
Hi Denny. Firefield Tracker 1x24 is a Gen 1 night vision goggle. It is a good device but within the limitations of Gen 1 technology. This means that it will provider you with visibility limited to about 30-50 yards.
