The Marketplace

A traditional marketplace is an online platform where buyers and sellers interact directly without any supervision from the “marketplace” owners. Traditional marketplaces carry inherited risks such as the item being sold differs from the description, scams and payment issues.

We solve the problems above by acting as intermediaries and managing every step of the process. This is how our process works:

• The seller fills out a form containing all details of the item(s), all their faults, images and specifying the price at which they want the item to be sold at. The images need to be as following:
• Front, back and angled view
• Accessories
• Faults, if any
• After approval, the seller ships the product to our location packaging it so that it does not get damaged and listing all the items in the package.
• The item(s) are taken on consignment, and we ensure that the product(s) is as described by the seller upon receipt.
• We list the item(s) on the marketplace, and we advertise them to our visitors as well as our newsletter subscribers.
• The seller can request the item back at any point in the process assuming that the item has not yet been sold. Upon return, only shipping fees will be charged to the seller.
• Once the item is sold, we deduct a 10% commission, and the seller will receive the remaining amount by check in 5-7 business days.
