The Scope Mounting System #1 for PS28 Clip-On NVDs is ATN's mounting device that allows users to mount PS28 series Clip-On NVDs directly to scopes. This method eliminates the need to use rail mounts, precisely aligning the NVD with your riflescope as well as speeding up the mounting or removing process.
The mount is supplied with four rubber inserts, making it compatible with scopes sporting objective bells 38-56mm outer diameters. The mount attaches to the scope by way of three thumbscrews.
- Compatible with the Following Clip-On NVDs:
- ATN PS28

Question
i am looking at the atnps 28 and this adaptor and can't find the thickness of the adaptor to know whether it would have clearance on my riflescope setup. i have a leupold 4-12x xv ii mounted on a ruger mk77 mk ii. its objective is 49.5mm, which is fine, but the clearance to the barrel is only about 6.4mm. is that sufficient? if not, what other connectivity options are there? thanks.

Answer
Hi Lazyeye. Do you have any space on the rail in front of the scope? This night vision clipon can mount onto the rail and then you do not need to worry about the space. If you do not, please let us know the best number to contact you so our tech can give you a call and make sure that pick the correct accessories. Looking forward to your response.
Question
I have both these adapter rings and both won’t fit a Hawke scope 4x16x50 scope the smaller model ending with MO1 when I try to fit the smallest thickness shim to the adapter to slide over the bell objective it won’t fit, without the shim you can slide the adapter over the scope tighten the adjusting screw and it’s a slide fit but you can remove it by pulling the adapter off the scope, The bigger model ending with MO2 using the 50mm spacer you can slide it onto the scope tighten the adjusting screw on the adapter and still slide the adapter off, so I’m very confused as to how the adapter fits tightly onto the scope, some sites say it’s held on with three grub screws but there are no holes drilled into the adapters to fit screws, I would certainly not recommend buying this until I get a answers from ATN as you will certainly waste your money as the adapters will not fit a 50 mm objective end scope ,

Hi Fred. Did you get a user's manual with your equipment? If not I do suggest contacting ATN directly as they would be much better at answering such specific questions.
