Initially released as an exclusive model for Cabela's CO-X is now available in many night vision tube configurations from all Armasight distributors.  As you may know, Armasight makes several models of night vision clip-ons.  CO-mini, CO-MR and CO-LR are some examples.  So what is the ideal niche for the CO-X model?  Night Vision Guys are here to guide you!  Perfect usage for CO-X night vision clip-ons is for closer range applications.  Do not use it with day time optics of magnification greater than 4X-6X.  Trijicon ACOG and EOTech HWS are ideal candidates to be paired with this night vision attachment.   Armasight CO-X should not be used with day time optics having objective lens with diameters greater than 32mm.

As with all night vision clip-ons, the benefits of using them are clear.  They provide you the versatility of using your daytime optic during the day and quickly converting it into a night vision optic when needed.  This eliminates the need to rezero your daytime device or to have a second dedicated setup for night time use.

Armasight Gen 3 Bavo night vision tube used in this CO-X model is a base level Gen 3 night vision tube.  Clip-on devices in this generation are typically capable of night time ranges up to 300 yards and more.   It is typical for units of the base Gen 3 generation to have minor blemishes in the visible part of the lens.   If you are looking for a high clarity unit, Gen 3 Alpha or Gen 3 Pinnacle would be the obvious choices.

A wireless remote control unit can be placed anywhere on the user’s weapon, allowing quick and easy activation of the CO-X Clip-On System.

Recommended for use with day scopes of up to 6X-7X magnification, the CO-X is equipped with a locking quick-disconnect mounting system that provides the user with an simple and fast way to attach or detach the CO-X on any standard Weaver or Picatinny rail. The CO-X Night Vision Clip-On System can be equipped with high-performance Gen 2+ image intensifier tubes using Green phosphor or “Quick Silver” and “Ghost” image intensifier tubes which provide users with natural B&W night vision displays.
