BUSHNELL STEALTHVIEW II 3X 32MM DIGITAL COLOR MONOCULAR
Firefield Spartan 1 x 24mm Night Vision Goggle Monocular
The Firefield Spartan 1 x 24 Night Vision Goggles provides hands-free viewing. This small, compact monocular is secured to the head gear by a mounting system that sits easily on the front head strap so that the Spartan can be flipped up when not in use or flipped down when activated. The Spartan head mount is designed to be used with your right eye. The monocular uses no magnification so that users can see a clear image with no distortion or change in depth perception. The Spartan’s newly developed lenses maximize light amplification through improved frequency and contrast.

Gen 1 Night Vision
1st generation is currently the most popular type of night vision in the world. Utilizing the basic principles described in detail in our guide, a 1st generation unit will amplify the existing light several thousand times letting you clearly see in the dark. These units provide a bright and sharp image at a low cost, which is perfect, whether you are boating, observing wildlife, or providing security for your home. You may notice the following when you are looking through a 1st Gen. unit. A slight high-pitched whine when the unit is on. The image you see may be slightly blurry around the edges. This is known as Geometric Distortion. When you turn a 1st Gen. unit off it may glow green for some time. These are inherent characteristics of a 1st Gen. unit and are normal.

Question
Rhino mount compatable?
From Brandon on Feb 06, 2017
Answer
Hi Brandon. Spartan night vision monocular uses a custom mount. IT is only compatible with the goggle set it comes with. There may be some way to adopt the unit to a Rhino but not a manufacturer supported one.
Question
Hi, I'm looking to use this for film development in the darkroom. 2 questions: What is the minimum focus distance? #2 - Does the Infrared light source take its own batteries and have a separate on/off switch? I want to use an external IR source. If I can SEE the red glow, so can the film. Thanks
From JF on Jan 30, 2018
Answer
Hi JF. There is a dedicated switch for the IR illuminator. As far as the minimum focusing distance for the optic, I am not 100% sure. We only have the specs which are provided by the manufacturer and you can find them on the Specification tab.
