Steiner M5Xi is a riflescope built to meet the military requirements and it bears the same featues as the renowned Steiner Military series riflescopes. Designed for short-range shooting, Steiner M5Xi features Broadband Anti-Reflection Coatings for bright images, contrast and superior light transmission - in combination with 11-level glass-etched illuminated reticle, it makes the M5Xi riflescope an ultimate tool in low-light situations. M5Xi riflescope has one-piece aluminum body for light weight and toughness; Nitrogen filling provides stable performance in all conditions, foggy and rainy weather and in temperature extremes from -13° F to +145° F. The 1-5X zoom range in combination with Rapid Dot reticle calibrated for 7.62 rounds makes the M5Xi riflescope deadly in all its field of view.
Steiner M5Xi is not a night vision riflescope. It is a day time riflescope and does not amplify light.
