Offering all the latest features you can expect from a thermal camera, this thermal monocular adds something no other does - a switchable lens. FLIR offer a choice of 3 lenses which you can use with this thermal camera. These lenses are listed on the optional accessories tab.
FLIR's Scout TS-XR Pro 640 Thermal Monocular is optimized for expedition enthusiasts, wildlife management professionals, and ranchers but can be useful to anyone. This compact and ergonomic device enables operators to see thermal signatures through fog, smoke, and foliage during the day or at night. At the core of this device is the 640 x 480 VOx uncooled microbolometer that operates at room temperature and provides a 9 Hz refresh rate. The electro-optical system provides users with a 24 x 18° maximum field of view and a number of color palettes like White Hot, Black Hot, and InstAlert polarities. You can save 640 x 480 JPEG images and AVI videos to a 16GB SD/SDHC memory card or relay 640 x 480 NTSC or PAL videos to external displays and recorders. To enhance user experience, the monocular offers a simple but effective control pad and an in-view menu. This body only configuration requires an optional lens and accepts interchangeable 35mm, 65mm, and 100mm lenses via its bayonet lens mounting system.
This thermal imaging device is packaged into a lightweight, durable, and ergonomic polymer body. Its rubberized covering provides a non-slip grip, and its rubber eye cup offers comfort and protects eyepiece optics and LCD screen from rain and snow. The waterproof housing also has two hand straps for handheld operation and a 1/4"-20 socket for use on a tripod.
