Very Nice IR Light
I purchased a Spark Core along with the XLR-IR850. Beam goes from narrow to wide and has three intensity settings. The lowest is approximately the same as the one on the Spark Core but the other two are fantastic. On high it looks like a high candlepower (lumen) flashlight through the NV. Definitely a must. Only one problem; the light does not fit on the transfer piece 21!! The mount on the light is V shaped on one side and straight on the adjustable side. It is not wide enough to go over the transfer piece.

Question
HOW LONG DES IT TAKE TO CHARGE IT??? DO YOU USE IT WITH THE UNITS IR, OR USE IT ALONE?
From WILLIAM RUSSO on Feb 28, 2015
Answer
We are not certain of the charge time required. It probably varies based on many conditions. You can use this IR in conjunction with the IR of the unit or by itself.
Question
can it take a regular battery?
From WILLIAM RUSSO on Feb 28, 2015
Answer
Yes, XLR-IR850 can function on rechargeable as well as regular batteries.
Question
You recommended this one for the Spark Core over the 810 The Spark Core is not listed as compatible Is this accessory compatible with the Armasite Spark Core?
From Brett Whitlock on May 20, 2015
Answer
Hi Brett. It will certainly work, however, keep in mind that this XLR-IR850 night vision illuminator is pretty big. So depending on how you use your Spark night vision monocular, it may not be the most convenient option.
Question
Does this come with the adaptor for the spark core and if Im using it with the goggle kit and as a handheld at night will it be very uncomfortable? If so I need longer distance IR beam because spark core doesn't cut it. thx
From Steve Garcia on Dec 13, 2015
Answer
Hi Steve. This IR illuminator is certainly designed for use with the SPARK night vision monocular. Note that there an optional beam doubler for this IR illuminator: part number ANAF18XXLR. Let us know if you have any further questions.
Question
What mount do I need for a picatinny rail?
From Jeff on Feb 10, 2017
Answer
Hi Jeff. Are you planning to mount this directly on your weapon? Most scopes have an accessory rail for the illuminators. Is this your supplemental IR?
