Armasight Spark-G CORE Technology Night Vision Goggle Kit
From Armasight about SPARK-X Night Vision Goggles:
Armasight Spark-X dual tube night vision goggle systems built around CORE (Ceramic Optical Ruggedized Engine) image intensifier tubes. Unlike Gen 1 Image intensifier tubes, which are fragile because they are made from glass, CORE™ IITs are made just like Gen 2 and Gen 3 -- by fusing metal alloys with ceramic compounds. CORE™ technology is based on durable elements and allows tight component stacking, resulting in image tubes that are exceptionally shockproof and vibration-resistant. Robust packaging protects easy-to-break protrusions common in Gen 1 tubes, and allows for a streamlined design that is lighter, more compact, and more reliable than average night vision devices. The CORE™ platform offers ‘best in class’ resolution with 60-70 lp/mm and an increased photocathode sensitivity level of upwards of 400μA/lm, providing high image quality even in difficult ambient light conditions, rivaling high-end Gen 2 image tubes. The Armasight Spark-X utilizes two CORE image intensifier tubes. This dual tube design provides increased depth perception and outstanding clarity. The Armasight Spark-X come complete with headgear, which allows the unit to be mounted for hands-free operation.
From Night Vision Guys about SPARK-X Night Vision Goggles:
Armasight Spark-X is a brand new unit intrduced by Armasight in 2014. This dual tube night vision binocular / goggle is based on the super successful Armasight Spark monocular. The main reason for this success is the revolutionary ceramic CORE technology used in this night vision devices. This new twist on Gen 1 intensifcation tubes delivers superb resolution which used to be seen in high end Gen 2 and Gen 3 units. Though Gen 1 CORE tubes are not as bright as their higher generation counterparts, the clearity of the image and lack of distortion typical for a gen 1 device in combination with realtively low price make these devices very competitive even in such over saturated market spacea s gen 1 night vision.
Bottom line is that if you are in the market for a night vision goggle, this device or it's single tube variant - SPARK-G offer the best value on the market. No other technology delivers the same quality of image at the same price level.

Gen 1 Core Technology Night Vision
CORE™ Image Intensifier Tube
Thanks to the latest advancements in electro optical manufacturing Armasight redefines affordable high
performance night vision with CORE™ (Ceramic Optical Ruggedized Engine) Image Intensifier
CORE™ VS. Gen 1
Unlike Gen 1 Image intensifier tubes that are fragile by a virtue of being made from glass, CORE™ IITs
are made just like Gen 2 and Gen 3 by fusing metal alloys with ceramic compounds. CORE™ technology
is based on durable elements and allows tight component stacking, resulting in image tubes that are
exceptionally shockproof and vibration resistant. This makes CORE™ IITs ideal for weapon sight
application. Robust packaging envelop lacks easy-to-break protrusions common in Gen 1 tubes and
allows for streamline design of lighter, compact and more reliable night vision devices.
CORE™ platform offers best in class resolution with over 70 lp/mm, increased photocathode sensitivity
level in upwards of 400µm/lm and infinite (!) Signal to Noise (SN) providing image quality in prevalent
ambient light condition rivaling high end Gen 2 image tubes.

Question
Will naked eye (from the people not using the goggles) see some flashy dots of the IR LED when they look at the bulbs?
From Asker on Oct 21, 2015
Answer
Hi Asker. I am not sure which bulbs you are asking about. Can you please explain your question a bit better?
Question
I have the spark monocular and that uses the #37 adapter for helmet mounts. I want to trade up to this model so My question is is there a adapter for the goggles to use with a Rhino or TATM mount?
From William Harkins on Oct 25, 2015
Answer
Hi William. Sorry, we missed your question somehow. I hope it is not too late. The adapter you have for your Spark can be used with Spark-X as well. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
