Question
How small of a fov is the ir beam at 200 to 300 meters compared to the Steiner spir? Was looking at getting the spir for longer range out to 300 but like the dual spectrum on the mk3 if it has a small beam also at that distance. Thanks

Answer
Hi Kevin. Sorry it took so long to respond. We were trying to get the answer from Steiner. Here is the story... MK3 has 8 degree FOV at 200 meters (960 inches). SPIR does 2-30 degrees and out to 1000 meters. Gets to 1800 inches at 30 degrees. So there is no question that SPIR is much better IR illuminator. However, as you noted if MK3 capability is enough for what you are looking to achieve you can get the dual functionality oft he light.
