CO-LR-3 armasight

Ive done a correct choice as for this scope. Who still has some doubts whether to buy it - pls do not hesitate. I had explored a lot about intensifier tubes of different Gens and visited a couple of nvd shops before acquired the unit. Actually, speaking about Gen 3 and Gen 2 difference in price its rather a gap as Gen3 cost is really impressive but I chose Armasight CO-LR-3 Alpha Gen 3 scope as I had tested a lot of Gen3 units before and know exactly that they are worth the money. First I used the armasight clip on within pretty dense fog condition and the image was quite good. Under fine weather the picture is just fantastic- all outlines and traits are converted into night vision very distinctly, the target is focused and captured quickly and you will hit the object in the shortest burst of shots possible. Besides, the CO-LR-3 is a very compact one. High-class long range clip-on, thanks to Armasight guys.

What is the range in yds of this clip on scope and how many hours for the batteries?

Hi Jerry. Armasight CO-LR-3 Alpha is a great night vision clip-on. Depending on the battery type you use you can get the following hours: 45 hrs (3V) / 25 hrs (1.5V). As per distance, much depends on your day scope. Theoretically if paired with a quality day scope you can get 300 yards and more depending on light conditions as well. Question

I see the difference in price between this unit and the Bravo tube is about 1k. When comparing the two as far as clarity goes, is there a significant difference between the two?

Hi Brandon. Alpha vs bravo is all about clarity. Bravo tubes tend to present much more debris. It is still a very capable unit you just have to be flexible with that minor obstructions. Alpha tubes are the absolute clearest, hand picked to be very clear.
