What is the real world useable range of this system being a gen2 unit. Scope will be a 10 power Burris XTRII so glass quality is decent.

hi Mike. As you probably know, with night vision a lot depends on the lighting conditions. Night vision tubes simply magnify the available light. Therefore, it is hard to provide a specific distance. If you utilize an extra IR illuminator I would say you could get to 200+ yards without much dependence on natural light conditions.
