Question
Looking at this Yukon unit versus Armasight Orion 4x for some varmint hunting. Other than the weight being much less, how does this unit stack up against the Orion?
From Brett on Sep 05, 2014
Answer
Yukon NVRS 1.5x42 is a very nice unit. but it is designed for close range hunting. It is a good scope fro crossbows for example. Armasight Orion has 4x magnification which is almost 3 times more. This is the reason it is heavier. otherwise both scopes are very capable.
Question
CAN YOU ZERO IN NIGHT VISION SCOPE IN DAY LIGHT IF CAP IS ON OR HOW DO YOU ZERO IN
From WILLIAM on Nov 14, 2014
Answer
Hi William. Night Vision scopes like the Yukon NVRS 1.5x42 are zeroed in at dusk via the holes you mentioned. Typically 10-15 minute session with the cap on should not damage your scope provided there is no direct sunlight into it.

Hi Jeff. Yes this scope will work and is probably ideal for your application as it is one of the lighter gen1 scopes.
