Question
Does this adapter attaches directly to a Nyx14 unit ? Once installed it will allow to be interfaced with a dovetail mount like a rhino II ?
From John on Feb 26, 2016
Answer
That is correct. Swing Arm #37 is the right way to connect Armasight night vision devices like NYX14 to a dovetail mount on helmets.
Question
Is this actually for a dovetail helmet mount, or bayonet horn mount? The picture looks like a bayonet horn.
From JC on Jul 14, 2016
Answer
Hi JC. This helmet mount is specifically for dovetail. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
Question
Hi: can this product be exported to Spain? I have a spark NVG, and i need to mount on helmet. What more can I need? i have helmet and night vison only. If it can be exported, how much cost shipping ?, would I could teach as know which are those products that may be exported? Thank you for your help
From Luis Otola on Aug 18, 2016
Answer
Hi Luis. Yes, this particular adopter can be exported. We have a section on the website for exportable products: http://www.nightvisionguys.com/exportable-night-vision Shipping depends on your exact address. Also to tell you if you need anything else to mount your night vision to the helmet, you need to send us pictures or model numbers of your helmet and you night vision because there are different connectors.
Question
Does this adapter work with the Vega? Thanks.
From Ben on Sep 04, 2016
Answer
Hi Ben. Armasight Vega has the same mount connector on it as Armasight Spark so I believe it should work correctly, but we have never really tried it to be honest. You can contact Armasight directly if you want to be 100% sure.
Question
Anyone know whether or not this adapter will work with an ATN NVM14 series monocular and a Norotos Rhino Mount? they look to be the same mount as the Armasight Sirius mounts, just a dovetail it seems, but I was just wondering if anyone had any input there. Thanks!
From Remington Andrews on Apr 12, 2018
Answer
Hi Remington You are correct. Both night vision monoculars use the same type of mount. Please let us now if you need any gear for these devices.
