With Xtended Twilight Lens System the Leupold FX-3 scope is able to provide greater definition and luminance of image.  Leupold Competition Hunter 6x42mm also features DiamondCoat 2 lens coatings for advanced clarity, contrast and light transmission. Edges of the lens on Leupold FX-3 6x42 are blackened in order to provide better resolution, improved contrast and superior optical perrformance. FX-3 6x42mm is made from aircraft-grade aluminum, has Argon/Krypton gas filling for waterproofness and fogproof performance. This model is equipped with Wide Duplex reticle - Leupold designed the Wide Duplex reticle with a larger center gate for lightning-fast target acquisition, even on a moving target.
