With millions of systems deployed the NVG PVS-14 gen 3 night vision monocular is the standard military issue night vision goggle for the US/NATO military forces and is the all-around best multi-functional night vision monocular available. Head, helmet or weapon mounted (in conjunction with red-dot and collimating sights) the PVS-14 allows the user to maintain their night adapted vision in one eye while viewing night vision image with 40-degree field of view. Equipped with a ITT Surplus Tube the image intensifier tube that provides crisp image and increased mobility and tactical awareness. Infrared LED (with indicator) provides total darkness capability. This gen 3 night vision goggle system is weapons rated for 5.56x45mm NATO. Ideal night vision system for hunting, security, navigation, home defense, wildlife management and surveillance. By adding a sensitive chemical, gallium arsenide to the photocathode a brighter and sharper image has been achieved over 2nd generation units. An ion barrier film was also added to increase tube life. 3rd Gen. provides the user with good to excellent low light performance. 3rd Gen. Standard IIT Our standard 3rd generation image intensifier tubes are of the highest quality. They have a micro channel plate, GaAs photocathode, and a completely self-contained integral high-voltage power supply. These 3rd Generation tubes provide a combined increase in resolution, signal to noise and photosensitivity over tubes with a multi-alkali photocathode. Generation 3 is the standard for the USA military.

Delivery Time and Manufacturing Process for NVG PVS-14 Gen 3 Surplus ITT Tube Night Vision Monocular:
Most of our manufacturers do not keep products like NVG PVS-14 Gen 3 Surplus ITT Tube Night Vision Monocular assembled on the shelf. Night Vision tubes are kept separate from the body of the unit. When the order is placed, the manufacturer starts the order processing and assembly process which includes the following:
- Order processing - we collect all the necessary information including address and phone numbers. We also make sure that our customer ordered the correct product for their needs and that the product can be exported by US law to the country of destination. In some cases a signed export compliance form is required.
- QC - in this step the manufacturer will inspect all individual parts which will be used to assemble the night vision device for any defects.
- Production & Assembly - during production, all the parts are put together. Night Vision tubes in inserted into the body of the unit and all the complex electronics for the device are connected. This process takes place in a special lab called the "clean room" as even a small speckle of dust can cause undesired optical effect.
- QA - one the night vision device is assembled, it goes through a rigorous testing process to make sure it meets all the expected specifications and all parts function as expected. For this most manufacturers have a special "dark room" designed to allow testing of the units without causing incidental damage to the night vision tube by exposure to bright light.
- Packaging - this is a key process as well. In most case your night vision device will be shipped to you directly from the manufacturer but sometimes needs to be sent to us first. In either case items need to be packaged securely to avoid any kind of damage during transportation.
- Shipping - as described above items will most of the time ship from the manufacturer. For most domestic orders (unless shipping to POB or AFB) a premium shipper like FedEx or UPS will be used.
Only by following the above steps can we along with our manufacturers bring you - our customer - night vision products of highest quality, However as you can understand the above process can take several days to complete. For example if your device fails QA, the entire process restarts. Also at QC stage a manufacturer may realize that the tube they have in stock has a defect and a replacement tube needs to be ordered. Due to the complexity of this process, it is prudent to expect 3-4 business days for production and handling of the purchased device. Keep in mind that this process is designed to guarantee your satisfaction with the night vision device of your choice. It occasionally possible to expedite the process for urgent orders but addional fees or other restrictions may apply.

Good experience
I purchased 2 of these to bridge. Tubes came in clean and fast shipping! Had a small issue unrelated to NVGuys with one. NVG were able to handle my issue, went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied, and exceeded my expectations. These were my 3rd and 4th PVS-14s that I have owned at this point. Images are clear, IITs are great, and to get gen 3 auto-gated IITs at this price is almost unheard of. Thanks for sticking with me and bending over backwards to make my situation right!

Color me Impressed
Color me impressed by the quality product I have received! I found out about this company from a youtube video about equipment by a retired SF. I am glad I did. I am not new to NVGs, but my first purchase, and I was extremely anxious considering everyone making videos makes them sound so complicated. The last thing I needed was to spend so much money and not be happy! I was so impressed by this company and their product I placed a second order for a PVS14 Gen 3 AG monocle. I purchased a helmet, mount, and IR laser for my weapons. This crap is addicting! While awaiting my other components to arrive, I primarily utilize my current pvs 14 to ride my ATV at night. Sooooo much fun! Especially when I encounter people with my atv blacked out. Lol Thanks punks for getting me addicted to this crap! Anyway, I love my equipment from these guys, and this far they have been very responsive to correspondence and patient with me concerning my questions. Way to go guys you run a solid business, keep up the great work!

Great into to night vision
Could not be happier with this. Customer service was awesome. Monocular is in perfect condition with no blemishes in the tube. Great price and it shipped in a few days from purchase. I don’t think you could get a better pvs14 Faith the quality for the price.

For what it is
Shipped fast. The extended 3 year warranty is through a 3rd party which always sketches me out but time will tell if I ever have to use it. I had a pair of gen 2 PVS 7s before this, I can easily say that this blows those out the water. I’ve spent one night runnin and gunnin with it so far. Picks up what I need it to pick up. For example, we set clays 60 yards out on a hill to practice hold overs and I was able to make them out no problem. My buddy had White phosphor and his was a little bit more clear (but that’s a different debate). I haven’t tried them in wet conditions yet.there are two small blemishes around the outside but when I say small I mean negligible. If it holds up to my range nights this summer I will be buying a second one or another set from this company. Only reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars is cuz the extended warranty through that 3rd party.

Outstanding night vision
I purchased this set of pvs14’s on a whim as my first night vision purchase. I got them 7 days after my purchase which was a surprise seeing as i ordered them while the company was at shot show. I messaged the company to make sure my order had gone through and within 30 mins i had a reply that my order was being filled and would be shipped. That was 3 days ago and I have them in hand today. They are crystal clear with 0 blemishes or black marks while viewing. All i can say is that i am very impressed with not only the night vision itself, but the company as well. I recently sold my gen 1 and needed to upgrade to a higher generation and choosing the pvs 14 was an excellent choice. The FOV is incredible and clarity was very satisfying. The first time I used the nvgs it was cloudy and poor lighting but the nvgs lit up the night perfectly and was easy to see over 300 yards clearly. Very satisfied with this product.

This is my first delve into NVD’s and needless to say, I’m impressed. The clarity of the image is incredible. They offer great support when customers have questions as well. Will be upgrading to duals in the future and I know where I’ll be getting them.

I live up in Williams AZ and I hang this around my neck and sit on the deck and enjoy, works awesome looking at the stars. DO NOT leave it on like I did because it burned a spot on the lens / battery last forever.

Great unit, great tube
Unit arrived as described, everything new. Tube is excellent, no flaws. Manual is good. Maybe I'm too old but I don't hear any whine from the tube. The pouch has a pocket for everything and is well made. There's a battery included, a regular duracell. It powers the unit fine. I

Amazing Clarity
This unit was my entry into night vision and I am beyond impressed. The clarity you get from this tube is amazing. There are zero imperfections or blemishes in my particular tube. The Built in illuminator works decently for indoor total darkness but you need something with a little more throw beyond maybe 20 yards. Pair this unit with a good helmet and mount and it's perfect. The shipping was also very fast. After 3 days NVG upgraded my shipping from 3 day to overnight to get the unit within the week.

Amazing unit! Great value and great support.
Originally called about purchasing an ATN Gen 2 WPT. I didn’t know very much about night vision devices and nightvisionguys.com really helped me get the best unit for my money. Which happens to be this PVS-14/6015 monocular. It was also a friendly experience chatting on the phone. The clarity and detail in my monocular is amazing. Workhorse system. Saved funds.
We got few systems for a department. Lets just say we are not time users. Very clean image FOV with no dots. We paid way more in the past, so on difference were able to get one extra mono. Obviously had to get helmet mounts. Scullcrusher is no go. Got our units fast and in good order.
