Amazing NV for the price
The Sirius ID Gen2+ MG was my first purchase of a real night vision device. I didn't want to over spend. I reached out to several NV web dealers. Steve B at NVG was the first to get back to me (by phone). He recommend this unit over several others I was considering and that cost more. Unit arrived today and by night time I was moving around the house (lights off) with ease. The IIT tube is likely Russian built. For my needs, basic night surveillance and home defense, I am truly impressed with its performance. It's not a Gen 3 monocular but it's damn close. For $1,200 and change you can also buy a few accessory mounts, maybe an IR laser, for the same price as a Gen 3 unit. In short, I would highly recommend this unit based on performance and NVG based on customer service.

Hi Adam. Armasight Sirius is a night vision monocular and as such it was mainly designed for handheld or headmount use. It does not have a reticle of its own. However, you can co-sight Sirius with a reflex sight for example and in that case it can handle a .308.
