Night Optics Sentry 14 Gen 4G B/W Gated Manual Gain Night Vision Monocular
Utilizing the latest crystal clear 4G tube technology, the Sentry 14 1x 4G boast the furthest detection and recognition ranges, allowing you to locate and engage targets at distances further than ever before. Currently in use by militaries around the globe, the PVS-14 Sentry is the first choice for those who demand the best in low to no-light environments. The highly versatile Sentry 14 system can be hand held or head/helmet mounted for hands free navigation. The Sentry 14 can also be weapon mounted when coupled with a daytime close quarters battle sight or an IR laser. When paired with a quality spotting scope, target detection is stretched well beyond 600 yards. The simple 3 position switch (Off/On/ Momentary and constant IR and manual gain control make the 4G's low halo factor the perfect fit for nearly all level of light. Light weight, rugged and 100% Mil-Spec, the Sentry 14 4G is the best choice for all scenarios, be it close quarters or wide open spaces.
B/W 4G offer super clear image with grey color image which offer sharper contrast and less eye stress for long time usage. This is one of the best night vision monoculars on the market today.

Gen 4 Night Vision
Please note that most high end night vision devices are built per order. It may take 3-5 days or more for your order to ship. If timely shipping is important to you, please, contact us to verify availability prior to ordering.
Generation 4 IIT is equivalent to FLAG Filmless Autogated IIT.
Gated/Filmless technology represents the biggest technological breakthrough in image intensification of the past 10 years. By removing the ion barrier film and “Gating” the system Gen 4 demonstrates substantial increases in target detection range and resolution, particularly at extremely low light levels. The use of film less technology and auto-gated power supply in 4th generation image intensifiers result in: Up to 100% improvement in photo response. Superb performance in extremely low light level (better S/N and EBI). At least triple high light level resolution (a minimum of 36 lp/mm compared to 12 lp/mm).
4th GEN. GATED/FILMLESS IIT Autogated / Filmless inverting image intensifier tubes improve night operational effectiveness for users of night vision goggles and other night vision devices. The filmless micro channel plate provides a higher signal-tonoise ratio than standard 3rd Gen. IITs, resulting in better image quality under low-light conditions. An Autogated power supply further improves image resolution under high light conditions and a reduced halo effect that minimizes interference from bright light sources. The reduced Halo maximizes the effectiveness of the Night Vision device in dynamic lighting conditions such as those experienced, for example, in night operations in urban areas.
4th Gen. IIT Features:
• Photo Cathode type: Filmless GaAs
• Resolution from 64 to 72 lp/mm
• Signal-to-Noise Ratio from 25 to 30
• Autogated power Supply
• 10,000-hour tube life
Delivery Time and Manufacturing Process for Night Optics Sentry 14 4G BW Gated Manual Gain Night Vision Monocular:
Most of our manufacturers do not keep products like Night Optics Sentry 14 4G BW Gated Manual Gain Night Vision Monocular assembled on the shelf. Night Vision tubes are kept separate from the body of the unit. When the order is placed, the manufacturer starts the order processing and assembly process which includes the following:
- Order processing - we collect all the necessary information including address and phone numbers. We also make sure that our customer ordered the correct product for their needs and that the product can be exported by US law to the country of destination. In some cases a signed export compliance form is required.
- QC - in this step the manufacturer will inspect all individual parts which will be used to assemble the night vision device for any defects.
- Production & Assembly - during production, all the parts are put together. Night Vision tubes in inserted into the body of the unit and all the complex electronics for the device are connected. This process takes place in a special lab called the "clean room" as even a small speckle of dust can cause undesired optical effect.
- QA - one the night vision device is assembled, it goes through a rigorous testing process to make sure it meets all the expected specifications and all parts function as expected. For this most manufacturers have a special "dark room" designed to allow testing of the units without causing incidental damage to the night vision tube by exposure to bright light.
- Packaging - this is a key process as well. In most case your night vision device will be shipped to you directly from the manufacturer but sometimes needs to be sent to us first. In either case items need to be packaged securely to avoid any kind of damage during transportation.
- Shipping - as described above items will most of the time ship from the manufacturer. For most domestic orders (unless shipping to POB or AFB) a premium shipper like FedEx or UPS will be used.
Only by following the above steps can we along with our manufacturers bring you - our customer - night vision products of highest quality, However as you can understand the above process can take several days to complete. For example if your device fails QA, the entire process restarts. Also at QC stage a manufacturer may realize that the tube they have in stock has a defect and a replacement tube needs to be ordered. Due to the complexity of this process, it is prudent to expect 3-4 business days for production and handling of the purchased device. Keep in mind that this process is designed to guarantee your satisfaction with the night vision device of your choice. It occasionally possible to expedite the process for urgent orders but addional fees or other restrictions may apply.

Question
How long does it take to get shipped to New York?
From Let on Jan 26, 2018
Answer
Hi Let. It typically takes 2-4 days for the night vision monocular to ship and may take 3-5 days in transit unless you pay for expedited shipping.
Question
Are all of this unit's components made in the U.S.?
From Sierra 1803 on Mar 20, 2018
Answer
Hello Sir. You would need to confirm with the manufacturer, but I would be shocked if they were. They are probably all made by USA companies but manufacturing of the mechanical parts and some of the electronics is probably outside of the USA as is the case with most products.
Question
Is there a helmet mounted solution for two of these to effectively create a 'bi-occular assembly' (if you will)?
From Sierra 1803 on Mar 20, 2018
Answer
Hi. I think you are looking for a bridge mount which attaches 2 of these units to make a night vision binoc. We are not aware of this adapter for this model but we do have similar night vision monoculars which do offer such an accessory. If you provide us with a list of key features you are looking for in a device we can offer the right models for your review.
Question
I was watching Todd Huey on lone star boars and would like to know which specific model he was showing from last July 2017. It was a sentry 14 white phos photonis and from what he said these are somewhat resistant to light and less likely to have damage. I’d love to purschase one from you and wanted to know the exact one and link so I can buy one. Thanks so much!
From Adrian on Mar 21, 2018
Answer
Hi Adrian. Thank you for reaching out. I think it would be helpful for us to speak over the phone so we could give you a few details of different options. What is the best way to contact you?
Question
Can this use rechargeable batteries? And is this the same exact model on lone star boars? Thanks
From Habib on Apr 19, 2018
Answer
Hi Habib. We did a lot of work with Lone Star Boars so it is hard for me to say which specific video you are talking about. If you send a link, we can certainly verify. As per the batteries, it is theoretically possible to use rechargeable batteries in night vision devices, however, there are concerns that such batteries often output inconsistent voltage or current which can result in damage to the unit. As a result, most manufacturers will recommend not using rechargeable batteries.
