AGM WOLF-14 NL2 Night Vision Monocular
The Armasight Sirius is a highly functional night vision monocular with many facets to its style, unlike so many other monoculars on the market the Armasight Sirius offers both extreme functionality and a lightweight but durable package. Finding a monocular that can give you this kind of functionality while staying light enough to be carried long term and durable enough that you can rely on it no matter what kinds of tactical situations you find yourself in can be a real challenge. The Armasight Sirius is a great choice for both the amateur hunter or explorer looking for a user friendly piece of technology that he can rely on all night long as well as Military personnel and Law Enforcement professionals who need a night vision device that will serve their needs effectively and efficiently every time.
The Armasight Sirius offers a wide range of high quality night vision functions, including Automatic Brightness Control - meaning that if bright light appears on the field this monocular will turn itself off automatically in order to protect the lens from damaging light rays.
This model is also adaptable to work with a camera for those that need the added benefits of still imagery, or a camcorder if you are looking at setting up some kind of night time surveillance. This, again, makes the Armasight Sirius a great choice in night vision technology for everyone from amateurs to professionals.
Additionally, while it offers a low cost price point, the Armasight Sirius you are looking at offers manual gain control, so you can easily gain and lose on your target by hand. This is a great choice for both advanced night vision users as well as new learners who are interested in a tool with some added functionality that will come in handy on the field.
It also offers an infra red illuminator for extremely dark and close quarter situations.
The model you are looking at is the Armasight Sirius GEN 2+ Quick Silver White Phosphor. It has a Generation 2+ White Phosphor image intensifier and a resolution of 45/64 lp/mm. It also has a magnification of 1x, with 3x, 5x, and 8x optional. Many professionals and amateurs choose the crystal clear visibility offered by a white phosphor image intensifier over anything else.

Gen 2+ QS “Quick Silver” White Phosphor IIT
Experienced professionals know that nighttime scenes appear much more natural when displayed in black and white rather than the typical “night-vision green.” Our unique “Quick Silver” Gen 2+ IITs are characterized by high-contrast, white phosphor screens that offer black and white displays, which provide clearer details, better contrast, and more distinct shapes and shadows. They include a multi-alkali photocathode, a Resolution range of 47 to 54 lp/mm, and a Signal-to-Noise Ratio of 15 to 23. International versions are available for export.
Delivery Time and Manufacturing Process for Armasight Sirius GEN 2+ QS MG Night Vision Monocular:
Most of our manufacturers do not keep products like Armasight Sirius GEN 2+ QS MG Night Vision Monocular assembled on the shelf. Night Vision tubes are kept separate from the body of the unit. When the order is placed, the manufacturer starts the order processing and assembly process which includes the following:
- Order processing - we collect all the necessary information including address and phone numbers. We also make sure that our customer ordered the correct product for their needs and that the product can be exported by US law to the country of destination. In some cases a signed export compliance form is required.
- QC - in this step the manufacturer will inspect all individual parts which will be used to assemble the night vision device for any defects.
- Production & Assembly - during production, all the parts are put together. Night Vision tubes in inserted into the body of the unit and all the complex electronics for the device are connected. This process takes place in a special lab called the "clean room" as even a small speckle of dust can cause undesired optical effect.
- QA - one the night vision device is assembled, it goes through a rigorous testing process to make sure it meets all the expected specifications and all parts function as expected. For this most manufacturers have a special "dark room" designed to allow testing of the units without causing incidental damage to the night vision tube by exposure to bright light.
- Packaging - this is a key process as well. In most case your night vision device will be shipped to you directly from the manufacturer but sometimes needs to be sent to us first. In either case items need to be packaged securely to avoid any kind of damage during transportation.
- Shipping - as described above items will most of the time ship from the manufacturer. For most domestic orders (unless shipping to POB or AFB) a premium shipper like FedEx or UPS will be used.
Only by following the above steps can we along with our manufacturers bring you - our customer - night vision products of highest quality, However as you can understand the above process can take several days to complete. For example if your device fails QA, the entire process restarts. Also at QC stage a manufacturer may realize that the tube they have in stock has a defect and a replacement tube needs to be ordered. Due to the complexity of this process, it is prudent to expect 3-4 business days for production and handling of the purchased device. Keep in mind that this process is designed to guarantee your satisfaction with the night vision device of your choice. It occasionally possible to expedite the process for urgent orders but addional fees or other restrictions may apply.

Sirius QS 2+
Live rural Texas, We use night vision for varmint and hog hunting, the clarity of this monocular approaches gen 3, easy to focus, works well for long range with 5x lens, PVS 7 lens fit perfectly, this monocular is a good value, 250 300 yard range.

Question
Any thoughts on whether this would pair well with an Aimpoint Pro on an AR platform with approx 6" of rail space/fixed front sight. The red dot with mount is absolute co-witness. I would be getting the armasight mount that goes with Sirius/Spark. This is civilian use in heavily wooded area. Thanks

Answer
Hi Paul. This setup will work for sure. Armasight Sirius is a great little unit. Very capable and a great value for the money.
Question
What mount system would I need for this unit with the "FAST" high cut helmet with Standard MARSOC / WARCOM 3-hole pattern, with NVG shroud mount -compatible with front mount visors, flashlights and other visual enhancement devices?

Answer
Hi Chris. We discussed here and think that MICH would work best. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
Question
I am trying to figure out which model would be best for under 2k. Have been looking at this model and ATN Night Spirit MP-WPT. Which one is better quality, ie image, longevity etc.. or would I be better off with looking at the ATN NVM14-WPT Night Vision Monocular or similar model by Armasight? Looking for best quality multipurpose monocular that can be weapon mountable as well. Thanks!!
From James on Feb 05, 2018
Answer
Hi James. NVM14 from ANT or N-14 from Armasight would be the right products to look at if you are limited to that price range. Then basically pick the best tube you can get for the price. NVM14 WPT seems to be it at this time. If you get into the 2500 range, you can go for a pvs14 with a lower end Gen 3 tube. The tube will likely have some dots in the field of view but will be bright and sharp as only a Gen 3 tube can. Accessories are a bit cheaper for the ATN and Armasight proprietary units, but PVS14 is a more standard military trusted body. So you have to decide what is important to you.
