Gen 1 Night Vision
1st generation is currently the most popular type of night vision in the world. Utilizing the basic principles described in detail in our guide, a 1st generation unit will amplify the existing light several thousand times letting you clearly see in the dark. These units provide a bright and sharp image at a low cost, which is perfect, whether you are boating, observing wildlife, or providing security for your home. You may notice the following when you are looking through a 1st Gen. unit. A slight high-pitched whine when the unit is on. The image you see may be slightly blurry around the edges. This is known as Geometric Distortion. When you turn a 1st Gen. unit off it may glow green for some time. These are inherent characteristics of a 1st Gen. unit and are normal.

De momento no he hecho mas que probarle y ponerle a tiro en un PCP y para lo que lo quiero me cumple perfectamente. Una pena que aqui en España no tengamos la oferta que disponen en US. I mounted the scope on a suppressed 22 an it works great out to 100 yards. The scope was easy to sight in during daylight hours with the filter attached. Excellant scope for the money. Easy to zero in daylight with the filter on. The scope works pretty good out to about 100 yards.

This scope is great. Easy to sight in, easy to use, accurate, and very clear even in complete darkness. I purchased it to keep the coyotes out of the yard at night,(We lost one dog to them)and it works great for that. Very clear image once you set it up. This is a great scope for gen 1. Highly recommended. Get one and let the fun begin.

Why spend more to kill a Hog?
Yes, GEN 2 and 3 are better. They are lighter, last longer and may even have a better picture. But are they worth it a 5x ,10x or 15x the cost? Not to kill a hog. The scope is large but not enormous, just invest in a rest, bi-pod or shooting sticks(still much cheaper than Gen 2). The included IR is good and because of the picatinny mount a high power IR is even better. My ATN has a crystal clear view with good moon light or the IR well out 100 yards. You can even add a cree red light for coyote hunting and see far beyond that. I mounted mine on a 1/2 inch riser to clear the BUS sights on my AR. Its a solid scope that uses a common battery (good life too). I think the expected life-span is 1000 hours which is fine for the money. If I got to do anything I liked for a 1000 hours it would be a miracle.

All night vision rifle scopes including ATn Mk350 come with a lens cover which has a small hole. This hole also known as sacrificial window allows enough light into the unit to sight it during the day and not damage the scope. Full instructions are included with the scope.

No. ATN MK350 is designed as a dedicated scope. It is meant to be the only and primary scope on the weapon. If you are looking for a night vision device to combine with an EOTech type holographic sight, you need a night vision monocular like pvs14 or night vision clipon like ATN PS28. ATN MK350 on the other hand has it's own reticle and therefore is meant to be used as a stand alone rifle scope.

Hello, with this scope depending on your night time conditions (moonlight or starlight) you will clearly see between 75-100 yards. If ambient light is not available (moonlight or starlight), we encourage that you use the IR that comes with the unit. Hi Joe. As I presume you noticed, ATN MK350 is a discontinued model. We offer a free upgrade to Armasight Orion 4X which is the closest to MK350 in parameters and capabilities. It actually offers a bit more magnification. This night vision scope can be used up to a 308. It should not loose zero and it cannot be used during the day.
