The Armasight Zeus is the new line by Armasight in thermal imaging technology, and they are incredible thermal imaging devices for anyone interested in a riflescope device that won’t let you down in any weather conditions. Excellently crafted to be used for everything from hunting to Military and Law Enforcement needs, these thermal imaging hunting scopes are way beyond what light amplification night vision can do. Regardless of the tactical nuances that you face, nothing could be better than high grade thermal imaging technology to help you in target acquisition.
If you are not yet sure if thermal imaging technology is for you, ask yourself one question, is it worthwhile to know you will be able to see your target, even in inclement weather conditions? If so, then the answer is easy. You must invest in thermal imaging technology, because in bad weather conditions other night vision technology definitely has the potential to let you down. Armasight thermal riflescopes promise you an incredible and clear night time view of the field, but not just when the sky is clear. Even in rain and fog and other bad weather conditions, targets still give off heat, which means thermal imaging still works!
Another advantage of thermal imaging over other night vision technology is camouflage. A well selected camouflage outfit can hide a lot from even the well trained eye, but it can’t hide from an Armasight Zeus Thermal riflescope. Armasight Zeus and other thermal riflescopes offer digital thermal image which offers multiple color palletes and reticle configurations. Easy to navigate on-screen menu makes these thermal technology machines easy to use even for a novice.
The model of the thermal rifle scope that you are currently looking at is the Armasight Zeus 5 336-60 which offers a refresh rate of 60 hz, a pixel array format of 336 x 256, a FLIR Tau 2 Focal Array, and a magnification of 5.0x/6.0x. This Armasight Zeus thermal sight for rifle also has a 75 mm lens.
Armasight Zeus thermal digital rifle scopes ship with an Advanced Wireless Remote Control, a hard shipping and storage case, an operation manual with warranty card, a lens cap, a packing box, a Picatinny adaptor for the Advanced Wireless Remote Control, a Quick Release Mount, a soft carrying case, and 2 CR123A lithium batteries.
The Armasight Zeus ships with a 3 Years unit / 10 Years on FLIR Core warranty.

Thermal Imaging
Please note that most thermal devices are built per order. It may take 3-5 days or more for your order to ship. If timely shipping is important to you, please, contact us to verify availability prior to ordering.
Thermal devices can produce various types of images. Some are color others are monochrome. In either case change in shade or color indicates temperature differences.
Here is how thermal imaging devices work...
A special lens focuses the infrared light emitted by all of the objects in view.
The focused light is scanned by a phased array of infrared-detector elements. The detector elements create a very detailed temperature pattern called a thermogram. It only takes about one-thirtieth of a second for the detector array to obtain the temperature information to make the thermogram. This information is obtained from several thousand points in the field of view of the detector array.
The thermogram created by the detector elements is translated into electric impulses.
The impulses are sent to a signal-processing unit, a circuit board with a dedicated chip that translates the information from the elements into data for the display.
The signal-processing unit sends the information to the display, where it appears as various colors depending on the intensity of the infrared emission. The combination of all the impulses from all of the elements creates the image.
There are a few key Manufacturers when it comes to thermal imaging.
ATN: produce such well knows devies as ThOR-HD thermal scope, BINOX-THD thermal binoculars, and OTS-HD thermal monocular.
FLIR/Armasight: the largest maker of consumer level thermal products is well knows for their full product line. Zeus thermal scopes, Q14 and Scout monoculars, Helios and Scout binoculars and many more.
Pulsar: a very popular brand for digital night vision and thermal imaging. Key products include Pulsar Trail and Apex thermal scopes and Pulsar Helion and Quantum thermal monoculars.
Seek: mobile device mounted thermal cameras are the main products of this brand.
Delivery Time and Manufacturing Process for Armasight Zeus 336 5-20x75 60hz Thermal Weapon Sight:
Most of our manufacturers do not keep products like Armasight Zeus 336 5-20x75 60hz Thermal Weapon Sight assembled on the shelf. Night Vision tubes are kept separate from the body of the unit. When the order is placed, the manufacturer starts the order processing and assembly process which includes the following:
- Order processing - we collect all the necessary information including address and phone numbers. We also make sure that our customer ordered the correct product for their needs and that the product can be exported by US law to the country of destination. In some cases a signed export compliance form is required.
- QC - in this step the manufacturer will inspect all individual parts which will be used to assemble the night vision device for any defects.
- Production & Assembly - during production, all the parts are put together. Night Vision tubes in inserted into the body of the unit and all the complex electronics for the device are connected. This process takes place in a special lab called the "clean room" as even a small speckle of dust can cause undesired optical effect.
- QA - one the night vision device is assembled, it goes through a rigorous testing process to make sure it meets all the expected specifications and all parts function as expected. For this most manufacturers have a special "dark room" designed to allow testing of the units without causing incidental damage to the night vision tube by exposure to bright light.
- Packaging - this is a key process as well. In most case your night vision device will be shipped to you directly from the manufacturer but sometimes needs to be sent to us first. In either case items need to be packaged securely to avoid any kind of damage during transportation.
- Shipping - as described above items will most of the time ship from the manufacturer. For most domestic orders (unless shipping to POB or AFB) a premium shipper like FedEx or UPS will be used.
Only by following the above steps can we along with our manufacturers bring you - our customer - night vision products of highest quality, However as you can understand the above process can take several days to complete. For example if your device fails QA, the entire process restarts. Also at QC stage a manufacturer may realize that the tube they have in stock has a defect and a replacement tube needs to be ordered. Due to the complexity of this process, it is prudent to expect 3-4 business days for production and handling of the purchased device. Keep in mind that this process is designed to guarantee your satisfaction with the night vision device of your choice. It occasionally possible to expedite the process for urgent orders but addional fees or other restrictions may apply.

Great Long Range Scope
Great long range thermal scope the ID ability of the big 75mm lens is well beyond several hundred yards. The scope has held POI without issue and removing after every hunt thanks to the AM defense double lever mount. The menu and controls are super easy to use plus the housing is very solid and compact in size. Thanks Felix for the great service before and after the sale! I will be buying at Night Vision Guys for my next thermal.

I am very, very pleased with my Zeuss 5.
Let me start off by saying that I could not have been more pleased with my sales person, Steven Budovluya. I called him several times and he answered every question and was a big help. I did not really know what to expect with the Zeuss 336. I was worried about the resolution. My worries were unfounded. The resolution on this scope is great. It is is easy to get positive identification between deer, hogs, cattle, etc several hundred yards away. I have shot several wild hogs with this scope in the last two weeks since I made the purchase. If the 336 is this good, I wonder how good the 640 scopes are? I only have one minor complaint. I had to move the elevation 50 increments to zero the elevation. The windage was perfect. Moving the elevation that far, of course moves the reticle up in the display, so it is not centered. Support told me to adjust the margins. That does nothing for the reticle. I will write a better review after I have used it more. Overall, I couldn't be happier!

Thermal excellence
Recently purchased the Zeus thermal unit and i was very happy i did. I have been using the Tuskir 384 which was very good, but the Zues has it beat and it is less than half the cost of the tuskir. Color options are nice and with the optional extra battery pack the runtime is over 8 hours. Greta unit and well woth the money.

Zeus 5 336
Just wanted to share with you I received my scope today and could hardly wait to put it to use this evening. I scouted along the roadways. In one field I say two groups of deer (7 in one, 8 in the other), a cow and a huge hog that was about 70-80 yds. out. There was such clarity that there's no doubt it was large sow about 250#. Can't wait to get to the gun range to sight in my AR10, and my .22 magnum. Thanks again for all your help and guidance. I may be calling on you in the near future regarding the ring with picatinny rail that adapts to the front.

Have used the scope and love it.
Thanks to the Night Vision Guys I've taken predator and varmint control to the next level with the Armasight Zeus 5 thermal weapons sight. I have used generation 3 night vision sights extensively and the addition of this thermal sight makes target sighting and identification much quicker. This scope is packed with so many useful features such as the 5 different reticule patterns and varied color palette, scenarios menu and so on....that it will be a while before I can do an extensive review. Needless to say but I'm a happy customer! Thanks again to Steve B. and Night Vision Guys for a great product at a great price!

Product and service were excellent!
I have to say that not only is the Zeus scope I bought amazing, but so was the service and communication I had with NVG's! Steve B. is the best customer support guy I have ever talked to in regards to buying a product I am interested in. He convinced me to go thermal instead of using a regular night vision scope and I am so glad that he did! This piece of equipment is AMAZING! Nothing can hide from this scope, and it is beyond better than I had imagined. Would highly recommend doing business with Steve B. at NVG's, he will get you the right product for your needs. I would definitely recommend giving NVG your business over other companies who can't compete with the prices and knowledge Steve B. offers here. Thanks Steve and the NVG's team!

Thanks, NVG'S
Just purchased ATN ODIN thermal night vision monocular and ARMASIGHT Zeus 5 336-30 Thermal Imaging Riflescope, FLIR Tau 2 — 336×256 (17μm) 30Hz Core, 75mm Lens from Night Vision Guys. After searching long and hard, for the right products for my needs, it was great to talk to someone, who was not just interested in selling you any product they carry, or the model they can make the most on. I had called several companies selling these products, but the one that helped and impressed me the most was Night Vision Guys. Felix, from NVG'S, took the time to walk me thru the operation and function of every product I was interested in. He was more concerned that I get what I needed, than me spending more money on what I thought I needed. These products aren't cheap, so you don't want to buy something with capabilities that you will never use. After almost an hour we decided that the two items I bought were perfect for my porpoise-night hunting for coyotes. You can buy these optics from several companies for about the same price, but I don't think you will find any company that will take the time and energy explaining everything you must know about the operation of these products as well as the Night Vision Guys. I used them last weekend and they worked just as easy and great as promised. Thanks, NVG'S

Question
What is the maximum distance you can see with it? Thanks
From Jim Cole on Jan 14, 2015
Answer
hi Jim. With thermal scopes there are several meanings for seeing. For example you can detect a boat or a vehicle 1000 yards away. However, to recognize a person you can only be about 250-300 yards away. So much depends on what type of target and what type of surrounding you are dealing with. Please give us a bit more details and we can certainly get back to you with a suggestion fo the best value for your application.
Question
Does this model have the option to save the zeros of different weapons. Fore example, take the zero on your AR platform, then have the ability to remove it and mount on different weapon and save that zero so that I can switch back and forth and not have to re-zero.
From Ruben on Feb 05, 2015
Answer
Hi Ruben. This thermal scope has zero memory for 3 calibers.
Question
I know the Zeus has a cover but can you get a clear cover to protect the lens.
From Greg on Sep 11, 2015
Answer
Hi Greg. I think you are asking if there is some sort of protective cover which can stay in place during operation. Is that correct? If so, then the answer is no. In fact, thermal scopes like Armasight Zeus do not do very well through glass or other hard abstractions. For example it will not function if you tried to aim through a closed window. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Question
Do you have this scope in stock if not how long will it take to be shipped to ohio thanks
From James on Dec 23, 2017
Answer
Hi James. There is about 2 week lead time on this thermal scope. We have a few other thermals in stock but nothing with these exact parameters. Please let us know if you would like to hear about our inventory or if you would like a special deal on this scope.
Question
What caliber can I use for Zeus 3 336 42mm? Does a higher caliber damage the scope?
From Michael Voithofer on Sep 09, 2018
Answer
Hi Michael. Certainly up to .308 is not going to be an issue for this thermal scope.
