This is a special Night Vision Guys package product. You will receive Armasight Zeus 3X 336-60 Thermal Riflescope with 50mm lens and an extended battery pack which guarantees you will not run out of power in the field.
The Armasight Zeus is the new line by Armasight in thermal imaging technology, and they are incredible night vision devices for anyone interested in riflescope technology that won’t let you down in any weather conditions. Excellently crafted to be used for everything from hunting to Military and Law Enforcement needs, these night vision riflescopes are so far beyond what light amplification night vision can do. Regardless of the tactical nuances that you face, nothing could be better than high grade thermal imaging technology to help you in target acquisition.
If you are not yet sure if thermal imaging technology is for you, ask yourself one question, is it worthwhile to know you will be able to see your target, even in inclement weather conditions? If so, then the answer is easy. You must invest in thermal imaging technology, because in bad weather conditions other night vision technology definitely has the potential to let you down. Thermal imaging promises you an incredible and clear night time view of the field, but not just when the sky is clear. Even in rain and fog and other bad weather conditions, targets still give off heat, which means thermal imaging still works.
Another advantage of thermal imaging over other night vision technology is camouflage. A well selected camouflage outfit can hide a lot from even the well trained eye, but it can’t hide from thermal imaging technology. This is yet another way that a simple thermal imaging clip on scope upgrades your entire tactical arsenal; it is simple and very effective.

Thermal Imaging
Please note that most thermal devices are built per order. It may take 3-5 days or more for your order to ship. If timely shipping is important to you, please, contact us to verify availability prior to ordering.
Thermal devices can produce various types of images. Some are color others are monochrome. In either case change in shade or color indicates temperature differences.
Here is how thermal imaging devices work...
A special lens focuses the infrared light emitted by all of the objects in view.
The focused light is scanned by a phased array of infrared-detector elements. The detector elements create a very detailed temperature pattern called a thermogram. It only takes about one-thirtieth of a second for the detector array to obtain the temperature information to make the thermogram. This information is obtained from several thousand points in the field of view of the detector array.
The thermogram created by the detector elements is translated into electric impulses.
The impulses are sent to a signal-processing unit, a circuit board with a dedicated chip that translates the information from the elements into data for the display.
The signal-processing unit sends the information to the display, where it appears as various colors depending on the intensity of the infrared emission. The combination of all the impulses from all of the elements creates the image.
There are a few key Manufacturers when it comes to thermal imaging.
ATN: produce such well knows devies as ThOR-HD thermal scope, BINOX-THD thermal binoculars, and OTS-HD thermal monocular.
FLIR/Armasight: the largest maker of consumer level thermal products is well knows for their full product line. Zeus thermal scopes, Q14 and Scout monoculars, Helios and Scout binoculars and many more.
Pulsar: a very popular brand for digital night vision and thermal imaging. Key products include Pulsar Trail and Apex thermal scopes and Pulsar Helion and Quantum thermal monoculars.
Seek: mobile device mounted thermal cameras are the main products of this brand.
Delivery Time and Manufacturing Process for NVG Package - Armasight Zeus 336 3-12x50 with Battery Pack:
Most of our manufacturers do not keep products like NVG Package - Armasight Zeus 336 3-12x50 with Battery Pack assembled on the shelf. Night Vision tubes are kept separate from the body of the unit. When the order is placed, the manufacturer starts the order processing and assembly process which includes the following:
- Order processing - we collect all the necessary information including address and phone numbers. We also make sure that our customer ordered the correct product for their needs and that the product can be exported by US law to the country of destination. In some cases a signed export compliance form is required.
- QC - in this step the manufacturer will inspect all individual parts which will be used to assemble the night vision device for any defects.
- Production & Assembly - during production, all the parts are put together. Night Vision tubes in inserted into the body of the unit and all the complex electronics for the device are connected. This process takes place in a special lab called the "clean room" as even a small speckle of dust can cause undesired optical effect.
- QA - one the night vision device is assembled, it goes through a rigorous testing process to make sure it meets all the expected specifications and all parts function as expected. For this most manufacturers have a special "dark room" designed to allow testing of the units without causing incidental damage to the night vision tube by exposure to bright light.
- Packaging - this is a key process as well. In most case your night vision device will be shipped to you directly from the manufacturer but sometimes needs to be sent to us first. In either case items need to be packaged securely to avoid any kind of damage during transportation.
- Shipping - as described above items will most of the time ship from the manufacturer. For most domestic orders (unless shipping to POB or AFB) a premium shipper like FedEx or UPS will be used.
Only by following the above steps can we along with our manufacturers bring you - our customer - night vision products of highest quality, However as you can understand the above process can take several days to complete. For example if your device fails QA, the entire process restarts. Also at QC stage a manufacturer may realize that the tube they have in stock has a defect and a replacement tube needs to be ordered. Due to the complexity of this process, it is prudent to expect 3-4 business days for production and handling of the purchased device. Keep in mind that this process is designed to guarantee your satisfaction with the night vision device of your choice. It occasionally possible to expedite the process for urgent orders but addional fees or other restrictions may apply.

AWESOME...
Like many I have been on the fence for a while about Night Vision and Thermal. This being my first consumer grade Thermal device I did a lot of research looking for something that would not break the bank but was reliable. I spoke with Felix about my intended usage and we both agreed that the Zeus 336 was a good choice. Not being a professional night time hunter but one who goes out occasionally this setup fits the build. I went on a Texas pig hunt and was able to score kills on both nights out. However, I would say don't rush to buy and go right out hunting. There is a learning curve here. Sighting in can be difficult as targets don't show up very well. I used actual Aluminum duct tape on the target to get a single point of aim. And was able to dial the scope in. When shooting at live animals the biggest issue I found was range. I would either shoot over or under because there is limited depth of field to judge actual yardage. So you can only assume that it is under or within your sighted range. I am sure with more practice I will get this down better. The guys with GEN3 NVG scopes get a much better range estimate for first shot hits. The thermal however really helped identify targets that they could not see at longer ranges. So we were able to compliment one another. Because you have not looking at an actual image you have to get into the mindset of watching TV and refresh. When you shoot at a group of hogs at 100 yards and start to pan for more shots if you move too fast the screen may not redraw fast enough thus causing you to shoot too late or too quickly. The scope does have settings for this so learn the setups. Zooming on targets was pretty useless as the image just gets too digital pixelated. I found that leaving the zoom to normal I could identify deer, raccoons, hogs, cows, coyotes out to a few hundred yards or more. Granted we were hunting on clear nights with limited humidity and temps in the 50's. Foggy, cloudy raining, high humidity have negative affects on Thermal. The battery backup is a good thing to have if you don't want to keep turning it on and off as there is a delay for power up. Even setting it in standby mode. The internal 2 CR123 batteries do last for a couple hours and it is lighter to carry around. During my deer hunts I used it as a spotting scope into the field and out at night. It was great to be able to see what I was walking into and away from. My biggest complaint is all the wires for battery backup, Video recorder etc. Have some velcro straps handy and play around with the setups so you don't break or snag a wire. Also, the Video Recorder (unit does not record internal video, you have to buy an add on mini recorder) does not record sound. You have to add a mic to the setup (another wire and gadget), I think this needs to be explained more and added to any package that someone buys because it is not explained at all. And it would be nice to have sound to go with the video you do get. Overall, what I learned from this is that I want to practice with it more. And in the future I would like to save up for a small NVG device for walking to hide sites. The thermal works, but constantly holding up the rifle to walk in and walk out is a pain. Thats why you see all the guys on Youtube with small NVG's mounted to their heads. It really compliments the gear. All in all I am very happy with this setup and would recommend it to anyone wanting to get into Thermal setups without breaking the bank. I purchased using AFFIRM and rates are about the same as with normal CC purchases. They do put you on a payment plan to get it paid off in a year or less.

have been wanting a night scope for years
have been wanting a night scope for years but they are sooo expensive, but at age 70, i decided that if i am go a get one id better go ahead and do it. At first i was playing around in my yard and in the evening it was good but in the morning, not as good and i wasn't very impressed. but i wasn't seeing many animals. i took it out last night beaver hunting and i was very pleasantly surprised. i had no trouble seeing beavers in the water. i bought my armasight zeus 3 from Steven at Night Vidion Guys. he was very heplful in my purchase and he didnt try to sell me more than i wanted, in fact a week after the purchase( the day after the beaver hunt) i ordered a rail extension to back the scope back a few inches. i think he should have mentioned it but he was so careful not to be pushy. 5 stars for Steven,NVG and Armasight.

Question
Do you have this product available for the rental program?
From Lew on Aug 19, 2016
Answer
Hi Lew. We can technically arrange rental on pretty much any night vision or thermal unit. The question is how long you plan to rent for.
